RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON ADOPTING A
MUNICIPAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1966-1967
\'.'H~REAS, the City Mannger has submitted to the Cormnittee on Administration
~~d Finance a proposed budget for the fiscal year 1966-1967, containing
exhibits, schedules and other pertinent data supporting said proposed budget;
A~~ WHEREAS, said proposed budget contains provisions for the expenditure,
of Mu~icipal funds and resources on hand or expected to accrue during said
fi3cal year, as sho\vu in the various schedules, exhibits and other particulars
of s::>.id budget;
At8 TJHEP~S the Committee on Administration and Finance has considered said
budget, ~ade a~endments therein, and in turn brought said budget before the
City Counc il;
ANv WHERR~S, said City Council did, on 25 July 1966, approve said budget as
the ?reliminary budget for the fiscal year 1966-1967;
Ar~ v~IEP~S, said City Council now finds that said preliminary budget provides
~or all appropriate municipal purposes and services within the current resources
8.nd .:lnticipated revenues for the fiscal year;
:HEREFORE BE IT P~SOLVED:
'I'll c. i: saicl budget, a true and conformed copy of vlhich is attached hereto and
!.:--:C:',; :?, part hereof, is hereby approved and adopted, and all expenditures,
C:::~F.::'r.:1.nccs, transfers and appropriations set forth therein are also approved;
n:n BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
~~~t the City M~nager may make adjustments between expenditure accounts within
functions, or between functions within the operating segment of the budget,
pLovided that such adjustments do not increase the total appropriation or
~~e~ations, an1 provided further that adjustments cannot be made so as to alter
~ndividual salaries as set forth either in the budget or in other authorized
salaLY schedules without prior authorization of the City Council being had;
.I\.Hv ~E IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That no transfer of revenues or resources as shown
in said budget may be made without the approval of the City Council.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That no expenditure or encumbrance contingent on
contract, agreement, or other encumbrance requiring approval of the City Council
sh~ll be made until such contract,agreement or encumbrance have been approved
by said City Council;
_~~!D BE IT FURTHER P~SOLVED: Tijat the City Manager shall prepare and present
q112rterly budget performance statements and otherwise keep the City Council
informed of all matters of importance affecting the ability of the administra-
tion to perform the services and accomplish the purposes provided for in the
buiget hereby adopted.
