RESOLUTION NO.
131
DISSOLUTION OF BELVEP-ON GARDENS LIGHTING DISTRICT
WHEREAS Section 19270 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California provides that, upon the inclusion of all of the territory embraced
in any Highway Lighting District, the District may be dissolved;
AND WHEREAS the Belveron Gardens Lighting District, formed under
Highway Lighting District Act, is and has been entirely within the limits of
the City of Tiburon since the incorporation of said city on 23 June 1964;
AND WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Tiburon did on the 26th
day of September 1966, adopt a Minute Order intended to auth9~ize the dissolu-
tion of said lighting district;
AND WHEREAS it now appears necessary that such intention be expressed
by resolution of this City Council in order that the further requirements of
Section 19270 of said Streets and Highways Code may be complied with;
NOl.J', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT said Belveron Gardens Lighting District should be and is hereby
dissolved;
THAT the City Clerk shall file a certified copy of this resolution
with the State Board of Equalization, Board of Supervisors of the County of
Marin and the Assessor of the County of Marin;
THAT the Treasurer of the County of Marin shall be asked to dis-
tribute to the City of Tiburon the remaining unencumbered funds of said district
as provided for in Chapter 15 of said Streets and Highways Code.

City of Tiburon held on
