RESOLUTION NO. 145
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF TIBURON PUR-
SUANT TO PROVISIONS OF THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913.
WHEREAS proponents of a proposal to annex to the City of Tiburon cer-
tain lands generally described as approximately 3.6 square miles from Highway
101 on the w~~t to Bluff Point on the east and Paradise Cay on the north to
the Sausalito Canal on the south did file with this City Council on the
24th day of April 1967 a request to commence proceedings pursuant to the
provisions of the Annexation Act of 1913;
AND WHEREAS, said C'ity Council did receive and forthwith submit
the request to the Planning Commission of said City pursuant to Section 35108
of said act;
A!~ WHEREAS, pursuant to said Section 35108 of said act, said
Planning Commission had duly adopted and filed its report and recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT. pursuant to Section 35106 of said act this City Council does
give its consent to the commencement of proceedings for annexation to said
City of those lands hereinbefore described as more fully set forth in pro-
ceedings before the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Marin
on the 10th day of November 1966.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on
