RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
ACKNOHLEDGING RECEIPT OF A NOTICE OF INTENTION TO
CIRCULATE ANNEXATION PETITIONS~
WHEREAS The Annexation Act of 1913 requires that proponents of
annexation proceedings first publish Notice of Intent to circulate petitions
before undertaking such circulation, and after such publication file with the
City Clerk of the City a copy of the notice and accompanying statement;
AND WHEP~AS said Notice of Intention was duly published in accordance
with the requirements of the Act on the 3rd day of May 1967;
AND vTHEREAS the City Clerk has certified to this City Council that
the copy of the notice and accompa;:'Y~!1g statement and an affidavit of the
publication has been duly filed with his office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLL(l{.J'S:
THAT this City Council does hereby consent to the circulation of
petitions for the annexation to the City of Tiburon of those lands described
and set forth in the aforesaid Notice of ~ntention.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on
