RESOLUTION NO. 149
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON HONORING
STEPHEN H. NASH
WHEREAS, STEPHEN H. NASH ~as, upon its founding, selected as the
chairman of the Planning Commission of the City of Tiburon;
Al1D WHEREAS: The formidable tasks confronting the Commission and
the chairman included not only the organization of the Commission, the defin-
ing of its tasks and an inventory of the planning assets and liabilities of
the community, but the simultaneous revision of all existing plans and regula-
tions as well;
AND WHEREAS: STEPHEN H. NASH as chairman did resolutely, with
courtesy and patience, guide the commission in an extremely successful and
timely program of establishing much of the planning system now existing, and
in crystalizing community philosphy in matters of community importance;
Al~ WHEREAS: In large measure the community regard enjoyed today
by the Planning Commission, and its continuing record of achievement, is due
in great measure to the leadership of STEPHEN H. NASH;
NGl, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT This City Council does, with enthusiasm and respect, com-
pliment STEPHEN H. NASH for his service to city and citizen alike up,on the
occaaioa of his retirement as chairman and commissioner on the twenty-fourth
date of April, nineteen hundred and sixty-seven.
AND FURTHER: That we do commend the achievements and the perscn
of STEPHEN H. NASH to his fellows as a distinguished inspiration to those who
would honor good citizenship.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on
May 8
, 1967, by the following vote:
