RESOLUTION NO. ill-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
DECLARING THE STRUCTURE AT 34 REED RAi'iCH ROAD A PUBLIC
NUISANCE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 59 of the
City of Tiburon, Notice was duly given pursuant to the provisions of Section 3
of said ordinance to the property owners of that certain real property commonly
known as 34 ~eed Ranch Road to show cause why the structure and former home
existing on said property should not be declared to be a public nuisance, and
abated by action of the City of Tiburon, and the costs of such abatement
assessed upon the said property, such costs to constitute a lien thereon; and
WHEREAS, The matter was duly set for hearing on May 22, 1967, at
which time the matter was continued to this 12th day of June, 1967, at the
request of the said property owners; and
WHEREAS, the matter duly came on for hearing this date before the
City Council, and the City Council has heard and considered all objections
and protests to the proposed abatement of said public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, There were no objections and no protests to the proposed
abatement of said public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, The property owners have stated they have no objection to
destruction and removal of said structure and former home by the City of
Tiburon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
The City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby declare the
structure and former residence at 34 Reed Ranch Road to be a public nuisance
and hereby orders the City Manager of the City of Tiburon to take all neces-
sary steps to immediately abate said public nuisance following the expira-
tion of the period allowed by law unless waived.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on June 12, 1967, by the following vote:
