RESOLUTION NO. 164
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE eITY OF TlBURON
ADOPTING A MUNICIPAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-68
WHEr~AS the City Manager has submitted to the Committee on Finance
and Administration a preliminary budget for the fiscal year 1967-1968;
AND WHEr~AS said Committee has amended and reported the budget cut
to the City Council as containing provisions for the expenditure of munici-
pal funds and resources on hand or expected to accrue during the current fiscal
year, as shown in the various schedules, exhibits and other data of said budget;
AND WHEREAS said City Council now finds that said tentative budget
provides for all appropriate municipal purposes and services within the current
resources and anticipated revenues for the said fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOHS:
THAT said budget is hereby approved and adopted as the municipal
budget for the City of Tiburon for the fiscal year 1967-1968, and all expendi-
tures, encumbrnncca, transfers and appropriations set forth therein are also
approved;
AND PROVIDED FURTHER THAT, the City Manager may mmce adjustments
between functions and activities within the budget, provided that no increase
in total fund appropriations results, and provided that no increase or diminish-
ment in salaries results other than is provided for by the Personnel System,
and provided that no expenditure or encumbrance contingent on contract, agree-
ment or other engagement requirinc npprovnl of the City Council shall be made
until such contract, ~grecment or other engagement is firat Gpproved by the
Cityeouncil.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned meeting of the City Council of
the City of Tiburon held on
August 30
, 1967, by the following vote:
