RESOLUTION NO. 166
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON CONFIRMING COSTS OF ABATEMENT AND
ASSESS ING SAID COSTS AGAINST CERTAIN PROPERTY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 38773 of the Government Code of
the State of California, the City of Tiburon did adopt Ordinance No.
59 to provide for a systematic nuisance abatement procedure and for
special assessment liens; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said ordinance, the Ti-
buron City Council adopted Resolution No. 151 on June 12, 1967, resolv-
ing that the dwelling at 34 Reed Ranch Road, owned by Raymond D. Noel
and Virginia F. Noel, and more particularly described in Exhibit A at-
tached hereto, was a public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, said owners failed to abate the nuisance as requested
by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiburon abated the said nuisance at a cost
of $1,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the City has complied with the provisions of said Or-
dinance No. 59; and
WHEREAS, the Council has heard the report of the costs of abate-
ment and objections thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Tiburon finds that the
cost of said abatement is $1,500.00, confirms the report of said abate-
ment costs, and assesses said amount against said property.
2. That the City Council of the City of Tiburon does order that
certified copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Marin County
aecorder for recordation and transmitted to the Marin County Assessor,
Tax Collector and Auditor, pursuant to said Ordinance No. 59.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Tiburon held on August 30, 1967, by the following vote:

That certain real property located in the City of Tiburon
County of Marin, State of California, commonly known as 34 Reed Ranch
Road, more particularly described as follows:
Lot 112 as shown on that certain map entitled
"Map of Reedlands Unit 3", filed September 4,
1958 in Book 10 of Maps at page 4, Marin County
Records.
