HomeMy WebLinkAboutTC Res 1968-02-26 (3) RESOLUTION NO. 197 A RESOLUTION CONSOLIDATING VOTING PRECINCTS, APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS, FIXING POLLING PLACES AND ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR ELECTION OFFICERS. WHEREAS a general municipal election in the City of Tiburon has been called for April 9, 1968 in acoordance with the provisions of Section 36503 et seq of the Election Code of the State of California; AND WHEREAS Section 1618 and Section 22805 of the E~ection Code of the State of California require that the City Council appoint election officers, establish polling places and do certain other things apprppriate to the conduct of the aforesaid municipal election; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLWS: For the general municipal election to be held in the City of Tiburon on Tuesday, 9 ~pril 1968"there shall be three voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of Tiburon established for the holding of State and County elections; That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; ~nd that the persons hereinafter named are hereby appointed officers of election for aeir respective voting precincts; Voting Precinct: 1, comprising regular election precinct number 3301 Polling Place: Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Churcb-9 Shepard Way Inspector: Judge: Clerk: Clerk: Nary Estudillo Ruth C. Box Aa:ice Christian Beverly Bostick Voting Precinct 2, compr~s~ng regular election precintc numbers 3304, 3305 and 3306 Polling Place: Tiburon Peninsula Club, 1600 Mar West Inspector: Jud ge : Clerk: Clerk: Alice Oldag Miriam Grbac Harie Cattani Helen Converse Voting Precinct 3, compr~s~ng regular election precinct numbers 3300, 3302 and 3303 Polling Place: Del Mar School, 105 Avenida Miraflores Inspector: Judge: Clerk: Clerk: Vivian Winblad Dorothy Levitan ;;Elizabeth Talbot Frances Seitus The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 8:00 o'clocl p.m And provided further that; C01$ensat:t.otll~for said election officers shall be: Inspectors Judges Clerks $25.00 20.00 20.00 and shall be paid as the regular election expense s~pargte and apart from payroll salaries. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tiburon held on the 26th day of February, 1968.
