RESOLUTION NO. 202
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN
AND FOR THE CITY OF TIBURON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ON 9th
APRIL 1968
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Tiburon did heretofore order an election
to be held within the City of Tiburon on the 9th day of April,1968, for the
purpose of selecting two (2) City Councilmen to serve for terms of four years;
AND WHEREAS said election was held pursuant to the requirements of the Govern-
ment Code and the Elections Code of the State of California, aRd
~AS this City Council of the City of Tiburon has, pursuant to Section 22932
of the Elections Code of the State of California, canvassed the returns from
said election,
NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, ORDERED AND DECLARED as follows:
1. That the whole DUmber of votes cast in the City of Tiburon in said election
were 1,139.
2. That the names of the persons voted for were:
Anne L. Ellinwood
Fred C. Hannahs
Fred R.,Mantegani
Stephen H. Nash
Denis T. Rice
3. 'ntat the candidates were each a candidate for one of tWo seats to be
vacated at the expiration of proper terms as fixed by law;
4. That this Board hereby finds that the number of votes cast in said election
for each candidate for the office of Counci~an was as follows:

6. That the following two (2) persons, having received the highest number
of votes for the office of councilman of the City of Tiburon, are hereby
declared to be elected as members of the City Council of the City of Tiburon
for a term of four (4) years:

7. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be delivered to each candidate.

the 16th day of April
