RESOLUTION NO. --..1lL
A RESOLUTION COMPLIMENTING ELIZABETH VON KARL FOR SERVICES
IN THE FIELD OF JOURNALISM.
WHEREAS Elizabeth Van Kahl has for the past four and one-half years
served as newspaper reporter for the "Ebb Tide" and "Independent Journal"
newspapers, with special interest in and attention to the community affairs
of the Tiburon Peninsula; and
WHEREAS in so doing she exhibited an unfailing sense of good humor,
journalistic integrity and genuine affection for our people, our community,
our townscape; and
WHEREAS she does now depart fram these endeavors in favor of other
pursuits;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT this City Council does compliment Elizabeth for the aforesaid
reasons and wish her well on her ventures.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on 22 July 1968, by the following vote:

COUNCILMEN: Drohan, Ellinwood, Fanning, Rice, Bremer
NOES:
COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN' None
