RESOLUTION NO. -llL
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF nBURON
APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED "DAWSON PROPERTY" TO THE CITY OF nBURON.
WHEREAS, a petition proposing that the territory described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, hereinafter referred to as the "Dawson Property," be
annexed to the City of Tiburon was duly received; and
WHEREAS, said petition is signed by all owners of the property
included within said territory; and
WHEREAS, said petition contains said description of said territory
proposed to be annexed to the City of Tiburon; and
WHEREAS, said petition asks that the said described territory be
annexed to the City of Tiburon; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Tiburon. and
is uninhabited territory in the County of Marin; and
WHEREAS, said petition bas heretofore been filed with the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of Muin, pursuant to Sections 35310.1
and 54191.1 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1968, said Commission, in accordance with
Section 54197.1 of the Government Code, approved said proposed annexation and
authorized the City Council of the City of Tiburon to annex said territory with-
out notice and hearing, and without election;
Na.l, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLCMS:
'lBAT the City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby approve the
annexation to the City of Tiburon of said described territory. and does hereby
further declare that said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of
Tiburon.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City Council is bereby
directed to iDIIIediately prepare and transmit to the Secretary of the State a
certified copy of this Resolution.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that said aUDexation will be effective tmmedi-
ately upon filing by the Secretary of the State of the certifi~d copy of this
Resolution.
