Dear Manager Chanis:
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about an upcoming Request for
Proposal (RFP) the Department of Parks and Recreation will be issuing in the Bay Area
District. The goal of this RFP is to award a twenty (20) year contract to a business entity
that will equip, operate, and maintain a ferry service to carry park visitors traveling from
Tiburon to Angel Island State Park.
A pre-proposal meeting for prospective concessionaires will be held on Wednesday,
June 20, 2018, at 6:00pm at the Del Mar Middle School, 105 Avenida Miraflores,
Tiburon, CA 94920.

VAR2017040, & VAR2017041; Coldwater Ventures I,LC, Owner; Site Plan and
Architectural Review for construction of a new 2,012 square foot three-story single-
family dwelling with the following Variances: 1) to allow a 6 foot encroachment into the
front setback (9 feet, 1.5 inches from front property line), which is less than the required
15 foot front setback, 2) to allow a 4 foot, 10 inch east side setback where 8 feet is
required, 3) to allow a 4 foot, 1 inch west side setback where 8 feet is required in a R-2
zone. In addition, the proposed project includes a Floor Area Exception to allow a floor
area of 2,614 square feet (2,012 square foot new house and 602 square foot guest house)
