RESOLUTION NO. 1100
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TIBURON ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL SALARY
PROGRAM FOR THE TOWN OF TIBURON FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1980-81 WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE
PERSONNEL SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Section 3-3 of the Tiburon Municipal Code
required that an Annual Salary Program be adopted for each fiscal
year as part of the Personnel System of the Town of Tiburoniand
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding with the
Police employee unit is currently in effect and provides for
1980-81 police employee salary adjustments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council
of the Town of Tiburon does hereby approve the Annual Salary
Program for Fiscal Year 1980-81 composed of those schedules
attached hereto, effective July 1, 1980, and made a part
hereof as follows:
1. SALARY SCHEDULE A - Miscellaneous Employees
2. SALARY SCHEDULE B - Police Employees
3. SALARY SCHEDULE C - Professional/Mid-Management/
Confidential Employees
4. SALARY SCHEDULE D - Management Employees
5. SALARY SCHEDULE E - Overtime Rates, Wages for Casual
Employees, Mileage Reimbursement
and Educative Incentive Pay.
6. SALARY SCHEDULE F - Health and Medical Insurance
Program
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Tiburon on July 16 , 1980, by the
following vote:

SCHEDULE OF OVERTIME RATES, WAGES,
FOR CASUAL EMPLOYEES, MILEAGE RE-
IMBURSEMENT, AND EDUCATIONAL INCEN-
TIVE PAY
OVERTIME RATES
Overtime compensation shall be paid for any time worked in excess
of the normal working day and for call-back time at a rate of
time and one-half. Double time shall be paid for any work performed
on a Holiday.
All regular non-supervisory professional Town employees are eligible
for overtime compensation which is applicable to all Departments. All
overtime must be approved and authorized by the Department Head and/
or Town Manager as set forth in Rule VII of Personnel Regulations.

MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
The following rate shall be paid to an employee for use of the employee
private automobile on authorized Town business:
$.19 per mile
EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE PAY
The educatiQnal incentive program now in existence for current employees
of the Police Department shall continue as follows:
2.5% per month for P.O.S.T. Intermediate Certificate
5.0% per month for P.O.S.T. Advanced Certificate
Effective July 1, 1979, new Police Department employees who become
eligible for the educational incentive program will be compensated
by the fixed monthly amounts shown below:
