A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO ANGELO MIRATA FOR HIS DEDI-
CATED SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY OF TIBURON
WHEREAS: Angelo Mirata has served commuters of the Tiburon area
for forty years beginning in 1933, retiring on 30th of August, 1974 as Senior
Member of the Golden Gate Bridge District driving staff with Badge #1; and
WHEREAS: Angelo Mirata has lived in Tiburon since 1923;
serving as fire commissioner, assessor and chairman for the Sanitary District,
President of the Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Amalgamated
Transit Union.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Tiburon City Council
does declare its deep and sincere appreciation on behalf of the citizens of
Tiburon for the devoted services of Angelo Mirata and look forward to the
continued presence of this fine family in the community.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the Ci ty of Tiburon on October 15
