RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
ESTABLISHING PARK PRIORITIES FOR STATE PARK BOND ISSUE
OF 1974
WHEREAS: Funds are available through the State Beach, Park Recrea-
tional and Historical Facilities Bond Act of 1974 for local park and
recreation projects; and
WHEREAS: A priority list must be prepared by the County in accor-
dance with the above legislation; and
WHEREAS: Marin County's share of these funds will be divided between
the County and its jurisdictions which provide local park and recreation
services; and
WHEREAS: Each eligible local jurisdiction will receive an amount
proportionate to its population; and
WHEREAS: The City of Tiburon is eligible for an amount of $18,585;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: Tha t the Ci ty of Tiburon submi ts
the following projects for inclusion in the County's priority list:
1. Richardson Bay Lineal Park Development
2. Lanes and Paths (Primary)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Tiburon approves the County's
priority list which will include the above projects, and projects of other
local jurisdictions and hereby rescinds Resolution No. 652.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on the
23rd day of September , 1974, by the
following vote:
