RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF TIBURON EMERGENCY
PIAN, AND APPLICABLE PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY OF M\.RIN
AND MARIN OPERATIONAL AREA - (COMMA.-EP)
WHEREAS: the City Council of the City of Tiburon passed Ordinance No. 80
N.S. on December 13, 1971 establishing the Emergency Services Organization re-
quired by the State of California Emergency Services Act of 1970; and
WHEREAS: this City passed Resolution No. 657 on the 12th day of August,
1974, making it a member of the unified emergency services organization known as
the Marin Operational Area, of which the County and the other cities and towns
in the County of Marin are also members; and
WHEREAS: this City recognizes its dependence on the County of Marin and
Marin Operational Area Emergency Services Organization for certain emergency
and resource services this city might not be able to provide for itself during
a Local Emergency, State of Emergency, or State of War Emergency condition as
contemplated by the State of California Emergency Services Act of 1970;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of Tiburon
hereby adopts the City of Tiburon Emergency Plan dated August 12th 1974, copy of
which is on file in the office of the City Clerk;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the City of Tiburon adopts the County of Marin
and Marin Operational Area Emergency plan dated January 1974, and those attach-
ments and annexes of that plan which may be meaningfully applied to this City,
as integral portions of the City of Tiburon Emergency Plan, August, 1974, for
those war or peacetime emergencies with which this town cannot cope within its
own resources as contemplated by the California Master Mutual Aid Agreement and
the Operational Area Joint Resolution referred to in paragraph 2 above, to which
this City is signatory.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THIS 12th day of August , 1974, by the
following vote of the City Council of the City of Tiburon, at their regular meeting.
