RESOLUTION NO. 652
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
ESTABLISHING PARK PRIORITIES FOR STATE PARK BOND ISSUE OF
1974
WHEREAS: Funds are available through the State Beach, Park Recreational
and Historical Facilities Bond Act of 1974 for local park and recreation projects;
and
WHEREAS: A priority list must be prepared by the County in accordance
with the above legislation; and
WHEREAS: Marin County's share of these funds will be divided on a 50%
basis between the County and its jurisdictions which provide local park and recre-
ation services; and
WHEREAS: Each eligible local jurisdiction will receive an amount pro-
portionate to its population; and
WHEREAS: The City of Tiburon is eligible for an amount of $18.585.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Tiburon submits the
following projects for inclusion in the County's priority list:
1. Richardson Bay Lineal Park Development
2. Lanes and Paths (Primary)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Tiburon approves the County's
priority list which will include the above projects, and projects of other local
jurisdictions.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Tiburon held on the 22nd day of July. 1974, by the following vote

COUNCILMEN: Aramburu, Ellman, Littman, Ross
NOES:
COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT:
COUNCILMEN: Tayer
