RESOLUTION NO. 636
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
HONORING LOUISE HEEBNER McCOMBJE, PUPIL OF TIBURON'S FIRST
SCHOOL ON THE OCCASION OF HER lOOTH BIRTHDAY.
WHEREAS: The City Council of the City of Tiburon has proclaimed
the month of June, 1974 as Tiburon Anniversary Month, during which will be
celebrated the 10th anniversary of the City, the 90th anniversary of the
town, and the lOOth anniversary of the first school, and
WHEREAS: Louise Heebner McCombie was born in what is now the City
of Tiburon just one hundred years ago, on June 12, 1974, and
WHEREAS: She attended the first school, witnessed important events
in our history such as the building of the railroad, and was acquainted with
prominent persons in the early story of our community, and
WHEREAS; She will celebrate her lOOth birthday on June 12, 1974, in
the City of Oakland where she presently resides,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT the City Council of the City of Tiburon, on behalf of all its
Citizens, extend to Louise Heebner McCombie its heartiest greetings and
sincere good wishes for a very Happy Birthday.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon on May 30, 1974 by the following vote:
