A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
MEMORIALIZING mE OUTS'D\NDING CON'lRIBUTION AND LIFE OF
JOHN LUC, OWNER/EDITOR OF THE EBB TIDE
WHERFAS: John and Nadine Luc have oWDed and operated the Ebb Tide
Newspaper in Tiburon since 1968, and
WHEREAS: the Ebb Tide as an important means of communication, has
provided an essential public service to the City of Tiburon and surrounding commu-
nity, and
WHEREAS: John and Nadine Luc have served the residents of Tiburon
through the publication of legal notices and by their fine teamwork in keeping the
citizen. continually apprised of activities on the Tiburon Peninsula, as well as
their personal involvement with the community in its charitable and social endeavors,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of
Tiburon mourns the passing of John Luc, and extends its deepest sympathies to Nadine
Luc, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of Tiburon
does memorialize the outstanding contribut~ons made by John Luc to the City of
Tiburon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a City Council meeting of the City of Tiburon
on March 11, 1974, by the following vote:
