RESOLUTION NO. 761
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TIBURON COMMENDING LOUISE TEATHER
FOR HER OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS AND SER-
VICE TO THE TIBURON COMMUNITY
WdEREAS, Louise Teather has contributed selfless service
~o the community of Tiburon, both as offical City Historian
since 1972 and as concerned citizen since its inception, and
WHEREAS, her research, literary and editorial efforts
have resulted in the preservation of the history of the Tiburon
Peninsula for ours and future generations, and
WHEREAS, her special efforts as Editor of the Tiburon
1974 Anniversary Album added immeasurably to citizen enjoyment
and participation in the Anniversary celebration, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of the Tiburon peninsula have par-
ticularly benefitted as a consequence of her dedication, sen-
sitivity and awareness in her considerable civic participation,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Tiburon hereby commends and expresses its appre-
ciation to Louise Teather for her extraordinary, exemplary public
service and continuing civic contributions, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT on behalf of the citizens of
Tiburon, this Council extends its best wishes to Louise and
Dave on this most auspicious occasion.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon held on September 22, 1975 by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Aramburu, Littman, Ross, Ellman
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Tayer
of Tiburon
