RESOLUTION NO. 760
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON COMMENDING GORDON STRAWBRIDGE FOR OUT-
STANDING CONTRIBUTION AND SERVICE TO THE TIBURON
COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Gordon Strawbridge has contributed selfless
service to the community of Tiburon, both as elected official
and concerned citizen since its inception; and
WHEREAS, Gordon Strawbridge, as Marin County's 1974
Outstanding Senior Citizen has had the unique distinction of
serving in the capacity of Mayor of two Marin cities, Tiburon
and Mill Valley; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens of Marin County have particularly
benefitted as a consequence of the dedication, sensitivity and
awareness of Mr. Strawbridge in his considerable civic participation,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE City Council of
the City of Tiburon hereby commends and expresses its appreciation
to Gordon Strawbridge for his extraordinary, exemplary public
service and continuing public contributions, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT on behalf of the citizens of
Tiburon, this Council extends its best wishes to Gordon and
Elizabeth on this most auspicious occasion~
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon held on September 22, 1975, by the follow-
ing vote:
