RESOLUTION NO. 753
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON DECLARING THAT NINETY PERCENT OF THE CITY
STREETS WITHIN THE SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS
HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
WHEREAS: The City of Tiburon adopted a modified Select Street
System on September 28, 1964, and
WHEREAS: Resolution No. 48 was adopted January 11, 1965 to approve
a certain map dated December 16, 1964, entitled "Map of Select System of
City Streets and Highways, City of Tiburon, California", and
WHEREAS: Funding of work on the Select System of City Streets is
made under the provision of Section 186.5 of the Streets and Highway Code,
and the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City of Tiburon does
consider that as of June 30, 1972 ninety percent (90%) of the streets
within the City Limits of the City of Tiburon were up to standards within the
scope set by the Select System of City Streets and have been completed, and
that Resolution No. 48 be amended hereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that three (3) copies of this resolution be
filed with the attached map, which amends that map dated August 25, 1975,
in the office of the Department of Public Works, State of California,
through the District Office of the Division of Highways. The City Council
of the City of Tiburon hereby petitions the California Highway Commission
to approve the aforementioned map as amended.
