RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO NADINE LUC AND
THE EBB TIDE NEWSPAPER FOR OUTSTANDING, DEDICATED
SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY OF TIBURON
WHEREAS: The Ebb Tide Newspaper has provided an essential
public service to the City of Tiburon and other Southern Marin communities
since 1968, and
WHEREAS: The Ebb Tide Newspaper has always worked closely
with the City of Tiburon in providing its citizens with various infor-
mation concerning community activities and City functions, and
WHEREAS: John and Nadine Luc made an outstanding contribution
with their dedicated service in the operation of the Ebb Tide Newspaper,
and
WHEREAS: Nadine Luc has now sold the paper and its base of
operation has moved to the Corte Madera-Larkspur area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Tiburon does hereby commend and express its sincere appreciation
to Nadine Luc and the Ebb Tide Newspaper for many years of outstanding
public service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon on April 14, 1975, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Aramburu, Ellman, Littman, Ross, Tayer
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
