A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIrnURON
DECLARING A CERTAIN ROADWAY AS A PUBLIC STREET
AND NAMING IT
KLEINERT WAY
UPON THE OCCASION OF THE RETIREMENT OF
TOWN MANAGER ROBERT L. KLEINERT
WHEREAS, there exists a certain non-exclusive access easement within the
Town of Tiburon, located on real property owned by the Town of Tiburon, that runs as a
roadway easterly from Ned's Way past the Tiburon Police Department, Belvedere-
Tiburon Child Care Center, and the Town of Tiburon Public Works Corporation Yard
and terminates as a non-exclusive access easement at the boundary of the Reed Union
School District property line.
WHEREAS, this roadway has been publicly used for many years as a means of
accessing the aforementioned locations, including Reed Elementary School; and

WHEREAS, due to the high volume of traffic and increased development on this
roadway, the Town ofTiburon desires to declare the roadway a public street for purposes
of maintenance, application of the California Vehicle Code, traffic enforcement, and the
greater good of the community; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of California Streets & Highway Code
Section 5026 and Government Code Section 34091.1, the Town Council is authorized to
declare said roadway a public street and appropriately name it; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, upon the occasion of the retirement of Town
Manager Robert L. Kleinert after 30 years of dedicated service to the citizens of the
Town ofTiburon, wishes to name this public street as a testament to his hard work and
long-standing commitment to the public good;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon does hereby declare the above-referenced roadway, further described in Exhibits
"A" and "B" attached hereto, as a public street and names it KLEINERT WAY.

Page 43, Marin County Records, described as follows:
