A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON
COMMENDING HEIDI BIGALL ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT FROM
THE TOWN OF TIBURON
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2009, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 08-2009, commending
Director of Administrative Services Heidi Bigall on her 30`x' anniversary of employment with the
Town of Tiburon; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Tiburon, in its infinite wisdom, first employed Heidi on April 9, 1979
and she has since become an exemplary model of stability, intellect, teamwork and leadership,
beloved by her fellow staff, both past and present; and
WHEREAS, Heidi has served the Town with distinction for 40 years, rising through the ranks to
the position of Director of Administrative Services while demonstrating remarkable ability and
dedication as guardian of the Town's finances, and acting as the Town's Risk Manager and
Human Resources Director in a fair and impartial manner with equal parts skill and poise; and
WHEREAS, Heidi's loyalty and leadership was further shown by her successful turn as hiterim
Town Manager in 2006; and
WHEREAS, Heidi has diligently performed her duties with good humor and strength of
character, through changing times and challenging circumstances, and has been a cherished co-
worker, font of institutional knowledge, and example of the highest standards of professional
conduct, ethical behavior and the principles of local government; and
WHEREAS, Heidi has served the Town through countless changes in leadership with the utmost
professionalism, knowledge, dedication and commitment to meeting the goals of the Council, the
needs of her staff, and the wishes of Tiburon residents; and
WHEREAS, Heidi has now chosen to retire after an exceptional 40 year career with the Town,
which she can look back on with great pride and a sense of accomplishment whenever riding her
motorcycle down Tiburon Boulevard to visit her colleagues turned friends and this fine
community, where she has left an indelible mark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon, on
behalf of all our citizens, does hereby commend, congratulate and sincerely thank Heidi Bigall
for an incredible 40 years of dedicated and exceptional service to the Town of Tiburon on the
occasion of her retirement and the capping of a remarkable and distinguished career, and wishes
her a blissful retirement.
