RESOLUTION NO. 67-2002
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON
CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
HELD IN AND FOR THE TOWN OF TIBURON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ON THE 5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2002
FOR THE PURPOSE OF
DECIDING BALLOT MEASURE "I"
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon did heretofore order an election
to be held within the Town of Tiburon on the 5th day of November 2002, for the purpose of
deciding a ballot initiative;
WHEREAS, said election was held pursuant to the requirements of the Government Code
and the Elections Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon has, pursuant to Section 22932 of
the Elections Code of the State of California, canvassed the returns from said elections;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, ORDERED AND DECLARED as follows:
1. That the whole number of ballots cast in the Town ofTiburon in said ballot measure
election was 3,780 which comprised 68.4% per cent of the registered voters;
2. That the ballot measure voted on was Measure "I";
3. That the number of votes counted by precinct was as follows:

That Ballot Measure "r' was deemed to have failed by a margin of 52.57% to 47.43%.
8. That the Town Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to
be delivered to the committees in support of or opposed to Measure "I".
