A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON COMMENDING FRED LUSTENBERGER
FOR HIS DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, Fred Lustenberger has served the Town for over four years as Building
Official, demonstrating integrity, fortitude, thoroughness, intelligence, wit, and a tremendous
work ethic; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure Fred Lustenberger spearheaded the streamlining of the
Town's residential resale inspection program and instituted other time - saving measures and
reforms within the Tiburon Building Division; and
WHEREAS, Fred Lustenberger designed and project- managed the construction and
installation of the new conference room on the second floor of Town Hall, which promises to be
an exceptional and well -used addition to the Town Hall facility; and
WHEREAS, Fred Lustenberger has now accepted a Building Official position with a
municipality in another part of the state and will be leaving the San Francisco Bay Area; and
WHEREAS, Fred Lustenberger will be missed by fellow employees and officials of the
Town of Tiburon for his wry sense of humor, keen technical knowledge, and unflagging
dedication to the Town and its residents.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon
hereby expresses its sincere appreciation to Fred Lustenberger for his dedicated public service to
the Town of Tiburon, and extends its best wishes for a future, in his life and career, that exceeds
all expectations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon held on July 16, 2014, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Doyle, Fraser, Fredericks, O'Donnell, Tollini
NAYS: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
