RESOLUTION NO. 37-2002 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TffiURON ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002-03 PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII B. OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, Article XIII B. of the Constitution of the State of California provides that total annual appropriations subject to exceed the appropriations limit of such entity of government for the prior year adjusted for changes in the cost of living and population, except as provides in Artic e XIII B; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIII B of the Constitution of the State of California, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon deems it to be in the best interest of the Town ofTiburon to establish an appropriations limit for Fiscal Year 2002-03; and ""' WHEREAS, the previously established limit for Fiscal Year 2001-02 was $4,906,471, and the State Department of Finance has determined that the 2002 Per Capita Persona Income Factor is -1.27%, and the Population Change Factor is 0.60%; the Director of Administrative Services estimates that legislated pass-through fees of the County will be $35,000; the Director of Administrative Services of the Town ofTiburon has determined that the an appropriations limit in the amount of $4,911 ,228 shall be established for Fiscal Year 2002-03. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon that an appropriations limit in the amount of $4,91 1,228 is established for Fiscal Year 2002-03 pursuant to Article XIII B. of the Constitution of the State ofCalifomia.
