AUTHORILING ACCP�TANC� OF A GRANT THROUGH THE TRANSPORTATION
AUTHOT2ITY OF MARIN AND Ai1THORIZING TH� TOWN MANAG�R TO
EXECUT� TH� AGIt��M�NT
WHCR�AS, the Town of Tiburon applied to the Transportation Authority of Marin during their
Multi-Flu�ds Call f�or Pi-ojects in June of 2019; ai�d
WI-�I:R�AS, said grints ai-e intended to help inunicipalities within Marin County complete
small al�d ]arge Safc Path���ays projects; and
WHER�AS, the 7��own of Tiblu�on was chosen by the I�i•anspor•tation Authol-ity of Mari�l as one
of the 1-ecipients of the gra�it on October-24, 2019; and
THEREP'ORE, BT IT RTSOLVED that the Towti Council oFthe Town of Tibiu-o�i allthoi-izes
tlle acceptance of the Measure AA Funds for Safe Pathways to Schools Projccts grant in the
amount of$400,000 lor the Del Mar Middle School Traffic Calming Plan and autl�orize the
Town Managel-to execlite tl�e agreement.
THERTI�OR�, BE IT RrSOLVED that, the Director of Public Works shall be tl�e cont�ract
manager of the �rant fiznds.
