A RESOLUTION OF TN� TOWN COUNCIL OF THL TOWN OF TIBURON
COMMTNDING DENNIS TRUMBL� ON TI�E OCCASION OF HIS
R�TIR�M�NT FI20M THE TOWN OF TIBURON
WHER�AS_ Demlis l�as been a dedicated employee of ihe Department of Public
Worlcs since he was hired by tl�e Town in 1999, but he has been working for the Town
and its reside»ts since the l 980s, since which time he has been respoizsible for the
beauti��icatio�l of McKegney Field, whicl� now, thanlcs to Dennis, is one of Tiburon's
1�inest gems;
WHEREAS, Dennis was an early member of the department's newly ininted
Parks Divisio�l., and witnessed fil-sthand the evolution and development of tlle loca] parlcs
Tibtzi-on i-esidents ai-e so pi•oud of today; and
WI-IEREAS, De�lnis was promoted to Senior Maintenance Worker and Parks
Division le�d_ wliere he eahibited superb leadership ainongst his colleagues a�7d great
dedication to both daily tasl<s and countless special projects, large and small; all in ptu�suit
of mal<ing Tiburon a bettel-and more beautifi�l place to live; and
WH�REAS_ De�lnis has been instrumental in many projects that make Tiburon
what it is today, il�cluding the: McKegney Field reeonstruction, South Knoll Park
playgi•oulld i�Istallation, Cypi-ess Hollow Park inlprovements, Tiburon Boulevard median
beautification, downtown Hangin� Baskets, Blackie's Pasture frontage and picnic areas,
a»d the Coming About Fountain construction, all of whieh represent thc long-standing
inai-k Dennis has left on the commtmity, and upon which he can loolc back on with great
pride and sense of accomplishinent; and
WHEREAS. Dennis is si��cerely thanked for his unwavering dependability eveiy
winter season to pl'ovide ex}�ert pt.lblic safety support during storins and floods, and is
commended fol- 11is ability to tl�in): quickly and implement imlovative "on the fly"
solutions. manv times avertin� di>aster a17d property damage; and
WHLREAS. Dennis has embraced tl�e most difficult and dirty work exllibitin��
robust �vorl: ethic and spit�it of scrvice; and
Wl-IEREAS. Dennis has acted as a valued inentor to Public Works staff and l�is
dedication to servin� the To��%n. his department, his teamn�ates, and tl�e ptiblic with
patience and good humor during his tenure is proof of his eaemplazy sti-enbth of
character.
NOW_ THEREFORE, BE I'1� RESOLVED, that the Town Council ol�the Town of
Tibui-on. on bel�alf of all oul- citiz�ns, does l�ereby commend and congratillate DEn�iis
1��-umble for 20 years of outstanding service to the Town of Tibtu-on on tl�e occasion of

his retirement, and thanks Dennis for his part in making Tiburon a more beautiful and
stlulning place to live.
