� A R�SOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON
ESTABLISHING THL 'TIME ANll DATE OI' MEETINGS OF THT TOWN COUNCIL
WHEREAS; on June 6, 1978; the City Council of the City of'Tibllron adopted Resolution No.
996 establishing its regular meeti»g tiine and date of the City Cotmcil to be tl�e first and third
Wednesdays of eacl� month at 7:30 p.m.; al�d
WHEREAS, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor of California issued
Eaecutive Orders No. N-25-20 and N-29-20, allowing government bodies in California to meet
entirely by teleconference, and i10 longer requir•ing a physical location to be open to the public;
and
WHEREAS, since March 18, 2020, all Tiburon Town Council members have been
teleconferencin� into all Town Council meetings, and Tiburon Town Hall has been closed to tlle
public; and
WHEREAS, the Council wislles to change its regular meeti»g time while conducti»g
teleconferenced �I�eetings in accordance with Executive Orders No. N-25-20 and N-29-20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the regular rneetings of the Town Council of tlle
'�Town of Tiburon, State of California, shall be held on the first and third Wednesdays o�f each
month, at the hour of 5:00 P.M. at tl�e regular place of ineeting, designated by the Town Council
through Ordinance,provided however, that when any such Wednesday falls on a lebal holiday,
then such rcgular date of ineeting shall be held the next business day, not a holiday, follo��ing
such legal l�oliday.
B� IT TURZ�H�;R RESOVED thi� change in regular meetiiig ti111e shall be ii1 effect only while
conducti»b teleconferenced meetinbs in accordance with F,xecutive Orders No. N-25-20 and N-
29-20, and upon ex�iration of those ex�cutive orders, the Town Coul�cil regular n�eeting tin�e
shall again be held at 7:30 p.m.
BE IT FURTHER KESOLVED R�soll�tion No. 996 is hereby rescinded, and this Resolution will
become effective on May 7. 2020.
