CONFLICT OF INT�REST C011�
WI-IEREAS. in ]980 the Town Council �dopted Resolution No. l 094 ��hich
incoiporated b�� reference tl�e Fair Political Practices Commission's (FPPC) n�odel
Conflict of Intel�est Code (Title 2, Division 6, Section 18730 of the California Code of
Regulatio�ls), including appendices d�tailing which positions must file a�1 ailnual
disclosure statement and v�%hat interests nnist be disclosed; ai7d
WHEREf\S. si»ce l 980, the Town Council llas alnended its Conflict of Interest
Code in l 991. l 997. l 998, 2002. 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018;
and
WHEREAS. Section 87302 of the California Governn7ent Code requii•es tl�e
Tow» to designate other positions within Yhe Town that are required to file disclostiu-e
statements �ind
WI�EREAS. thc Town Attorney and Town Clerk have reviewed the Town's cocle
and i-ecoil�mend a»�end���eilts to 1-eflect the followiilg:
a) Add the necounting and Finance Manager position under General
Management in Appendix B, Section 2(�) whose reporting requirelnent will
be Discl�sure Category 3.
b) Add the Seilior P1a�Ine1-position under Departinent of ComTnunity
Development in Appendia B, Section 3(C) whose reporting requirement will
be Disclostu-e Cate�ory 2.
NOW. Z�HERI:FORE, the Town Council of tl�e Town of Tiburon RESOLVFS �s
follows:
l) Resolution No. 37-2018 is hereby repealed and replaced by this resolution;
2) �l�he FPPC�s Model Conilict oTInterest Code as set lorth in Section 18730 shall
continue to be incorporated b}� r�fei�ence as t17e Town's Conflict of Interesi Code.

3) The "I�o��n Clcrk continu�s to be designated as the filing officer for the To��%n.
