� COMMENDING JEFF HADL�Y OF HADLEY GENERAL CONTI2ACTOItS UPON
HIS SELECTION AS TH� 2020 TIBURON PENINSULA CHAMB�R OF COMMERCE
BUSINESS OF TH� YTAR
WHEREAS, �nembers of tl�e Hadley family have been buildi»g l�omes on the Tiburon Peninsula since the
1950s, even prior to Tiburon's incorporation; and
WHEREAS, oi�e i»igl�t even say the Hadley family built Tiburon into what it is today, l�aving assisted in
the building of tl�e Boardwalk Shopping Center, post office, and countless l�omes around town; and
WHI;RL;AS, tl���ougl�out the entii-e rL�i1 of tl�e business, the Hadleys l�ave upl�eld tl�e company's
exceptional workmanship and higl� quality of sei-vice foi-tl�eir customers; and
WHEREAS, in 20l 8, Jeff I-Iadley officially took over the b�isiness fi•om l�is uncle,Lariy Hadley, who was
ce�-tai►� leff l�ad the wo�•k ethic necessary to tal<e cai•e of clieuts and maintain tl�e Hadley��ep�itation l�e and
l�is father I�ad growi� over the years; and
WHEREAS, si��ce becon�ing General Manager. Jeff has prioritized givi»g back to the community,
including l�is efforts to conduct a spi-ing cleanup at the Laudmarlcs Art& Garden Centei-a��d to ii�stall tl�e
fixtures necessaiy to get the new Tiburon Welcon�e Center�-eady for visitors; a��d
WHEREAS, Jeff's efforts toward bettei-inb the community have also l�onored Tiburon's past by his
donation of all the laboi-necessa�y to repair the�entrance to the Old Saint Hilary's landma�-I<—eve❑
�� working expeditiotiisly to save the day for a weddinb, and
WHEREAS, wlien a blobal pande►»ic cancelled Belvedei•e's treasured Concerts-in-tl�e-Park, Hadley
personnel transformed a flatbed into a stage so Jeff could drive a local band around Belvedere, furtl�er
� � demonstratin�Jeff's continued commit�r�ent to community morale even during hard times; and � ��� � ���
WHEREAS, Hadley General Coi�tractors, Inc. is now a third-generation�local business and has left a
long-lasting legacy of beauty anci generosity in Tiburon.
NOW, THEREFORI;, �3E IT RESOLVED that the Towi� Council of tl�e Town of Tiburo�� hereby
commends Jeff Hadley and Hadley Geneeal Coiitracto►-s on tl�eif-well-deserved selection as tlle
Cl�amber's 2020 Business of the Year, and expresses its si��cere appreciation to Jeff for l�is contributions
to tl�e quality of life in the Town of Tiburon.
