had recently voted to initiate a trai�sitioi� ofal] MT�'s functions into the Marin General Services �
A�ithority (MGSA). He said this transition will result i» breater efticie»cy and reduced overhead
costs.

! He s�id to ettectuate the transition. the Council i��ust adopt a resolution authorizii�b MGSA to
� exercise the tunctions previously performed by the MTA a�1d revisions to the Tow��'s Municipal
Code to repeal the ordi��ance that previously forn�ed the MTA.
Cou��cilmember Kulil<, currently the Towi��s representative to the MTA Board of Di�-ectors,
spol<e in favor of the transition anci said it ��ould serve the boals of ii��proved efficiency and
ti��a��cia) prudence.

Mayor I'redericl<s read "An Ordi��ance of the Towi� Council of the Town of Tiburon Providing
for the Terminatio�� of 1he Marin Telecommunicatioi�s Agency and Repealii�g the
"Telecommunications Ordinai�ce Coditied in Title llI, Chapter 9 ("Telecommunications
Regulations") of the Tiburon Municipal Code".
