WH�R�AS. CoLincilme�nber David Kulik secks a brief leave of absence. but does »ot
wish 10 vacate tl�e seat on the Tow�1 Co�mcil:
WHEREAS_ Government Code � 1770, states that a seat on a Town Council becomes
vaca»t whe» the Cotmcilmembei- fails to discharge their duties for a pei�iod of tllree consecuti��e
�Z�onths w�ithout the permission fi-oln that body;
WH�REAS, the Town Council does not wish to cause Councilmember David Kulik to
�-�acate tl7e seat oi� the 1�own Council due to a leave for personal reasons;
NOW, TH�RI;FOR�, BE IT RESOLV�D that the foregoing recitals are true and
correct �ind are incoiporated herein aild form a part of this resolution.
B� IT FURTHEK RESOLVED that the Town Coiu�cil grants Cotincilmember David
I<ulil: a leave oi�absence w�til April 30, 2021.
The foi-egoing Resolution was adopted at the special �neeting of the Tibui-on To���n
Cotu�cil held on Februarv 24, 2021 by the following vote:

NAYS: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
