TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
Consistent with Executive Orders No. N-25-20 and N-29-20 from the Executive Department of the State of California and the County Public Health Department’s May 18, 2020 Shelter-in-Place Order, councilmembers attended this meeting by teleconference. Members of the public
were invited to participate in the meeting by live-streaming the meeting on the Town’s website
and submitting comments to comments@townoftiburon.org to be included in the public record for the meeting. SPECIAL MEETING – 8:30 A.M.
Mayor Thier called the special meeting of the Tiburon Town Council to order at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Councilmember Fredericks, Councilmember Ryan, Vice Mayor Welner, Mayor Thier CLOSED SESSION
Public comments were received by:
Lynn Feinerman, who requested the investigation related to an August 2020 incident at the Yema store downtown be made public.
Bronia Hill, who submitted a letter that was read about transparency regarding the Tiburon
Police Department, the Tiburon Police MOU, adding a diversity, equity and inclusion element to the General Plan, and conferring with the Diversity Inclusion Task force with regard to filling the vacant Town Council seat.
Carol Korenbrot, who submitted a letter that was read about transparency about the Tiburon
Police Department, the Tiburon Police MOU and in support of an appointment to fill the vacant seat on the Town Council. 1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATIORS
