RESOLUTION NO. 53-2001
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON COMMENDING EM! THERIAULT
FOR HER DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, Emi Theriault has served the Town for over three years as Associate Planner,
helping process hundreds of Design Review applications and holding the hands of hundreds of
applicants, and
WHEREAS, Emi Theriault has attended dozens of Design Review Board, Planning
Commission, Town Council and Parks & Open Space Commission meetings, and has served each
of these respective bodies with professionalism, knowledge and good humor, and
WHEREAS, Emi Theriault's tenure coincided with the dot-com building boom in
Tiburon, resulting in historical increases in construction activity and, consequently, Design
Review applications, and her efforts to streamline the Design Review process saved countless
hours for applicants and residents, and
WHEREAS, now that the dot-com boom has turned into the dot-bomb bust, Emi
Theriault has chosen to seek new challenges awaiting her with the City of San Rafael, and
-- WHEREAS, Emi Theriault will also be missed by the Town of Tiburon for her cheerful
disposition, calm demeanor under stressful situations, and unfailing willingness to help the team
effort.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Emi Theriault for her three years of
dedication and outstanding public service to the Town ofTiburon, and extends its best wishes for
a future, in her life and career, that exceeds all expectations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon held on October 3, 2001, by the following vote:
