Weeded Had one tour Planned ahead forJanuary 2015 —our biggest project yet. Planning including getting Tiburon Public Works to remove about 7 old non performing Manzanita which they will do for us/ In order to get to those Manzanita we need to remove 16 good size salvia. We will dig them up, put each one in a 5 gallon pot & transfer them to Harvey's home where he will keep them watered —then re plant them after this project is complete. We also need that space for Martin Bros to deliver about 16 cubic yards of new top soil which must be spread by shovel & then raked. Those Manzanita bloomed only 3 weeks. With research Harvey has a list of replacement plants that will bloom for many months greatly enhancing our garden. Submitted by HARVEY ROGERS DIGEST ;* Peggy Curran From: Kurt Benner <kurt.benner@me.com> Sent: Sunday, December 21, 2014 3:39 PM To: Peggy Curran Subject: Large Sculpture R I wanted to voice my opinion against the proposed sculpture offered for quasi-permenant placement within our town of Tiburon. I have observed this massive piece of bent rusty construction girders sitting at Crissy Field for what seemed forever. To even consider such a piece of junk as "art" boggles the mind. To think that certain members of the town can influence the council to re-evaluate the placement of such a nuisance seems suspect at best. I would ask the town council to stick with it's original decision and not accept this sculpture for placement in Tiburon. Thank you, Kurt Benner 406 Paradise Drive Tiburon, CA PS: I am hearing that you may also be considering the circle of iron that is currently in place at the lagoon as a permanent location. I would again urge the town council not to keep this sculpture in Tiburon. DIGEST 3' Peggy Curran From: Kurt Benner <kurt.benner@me.com> Sent: Sunday, December 21, 2014 3:50 PM To: Peggy Curran Subject: Relocation of the library Gallows wheels Hi Peggy, I am asking the Town of Tiburon to reconsider the relocation of the Gallows Wheels from the library to shoreline park. Unlike my neighbors who view the wheels as an ugly stacking of garbage interfering with their view of the Bay, I am very concerned over the liability issues of stacking dangerous and rusty wheels in a public park where children will be climbing over them. The risk of injury is too large to ignore. Children will be drawn to climb on the structure and put themselves at risk of falling. The very teal possibility of broken bones, infections, serious illness, or worse as a result of cuts on rusty equipment puts the Town at such a large liability to lawsuits that I can't imagine the Council even considering such a relocation. I would ask that the Town Council reconsider it's decision to move the Gallows Wheels from the library. Thank you, Kurt Benner 406 Paradise Drive Tiburon John D.
