RESOLUTION NO. 3020
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON AUTHORIZING
THE SIGNING AND ENDORSING OF
CHECKS AND OTHER INSTRUMENTS
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Town to establish policies authorizing which Town
officials. may sign and endorse checks on behalf of the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The Bank of American, Tiburon Branch, shall be the depository for all
funds of the Town of Tiburon. Checking accounts shall be established and maintained by
and in the name of the Town at the desiguated bank upon and subject to such terms as
may be agreed to from time to time.
2. All checks, drafts and other instruments for payment from the Town's
accounts in the amount of $2,500 or less, or relating to the Town's state and federal payroll.
tax obligations in any amount, shall be signed on behalf of the Town by any two (2) of the
following people: Town Manager Robert 1" Kleinert, Finance Director Richard Stranzl,
. Town Treasurer Harry Matthews or any members of the current Town Council (Karen
Nygren, Andrew Thompson, Mark Ginalski, Rufus G. Thayer, Nicky Wolf).
3. All Town payroll/benefit checks shall be sigued by the Town Manager,
or in his absence, the Town Finance Director, the Town Treasurer or any member of the
Town Council.
4. All other checks, drafts or instruments shall be signed on behalf of the
Town by the Town Manager, Finance Director or Town Treasurer and by one member of
the Town Council.
S. All checks, drafts or other instruments for the payment of money made
payable to the Town of Tiburon may be endorsed for deposit by written or stamped
endorsement in the name of the Town without individual signatures.
6. The Town Clerk is directed to provide a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Bank of America along with signature authorization forms for the
individuals currently holding the positions of Town Manager, Finance Director, Town
treasurer and Town Councilmembers. The Town Clerk shall inform the Bank of any
changes in these positions and provide new signature cards when necessary.
7. The Bank of America is requested and authorized to honor, receive,
certilY or pay any instrument signed or endorsed in accordance with this Resolution. This
Resolution and any signature authorization forms submitted by the Town Clerk shall

remain in full force and etTect, and the Bank is authorized and requested to rely and act
thereon, until such time as the Bank receives written notice of any changes from the Town
Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on May 4, 1994, by the following vote:
