HomeMy WebLinkAboutTC Res 1994-04-20 r RESOLUTION NO. 3019 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN AND FOR THE TOWN OF TIBURON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA ON THE 12th DAY OF APRIL 1994 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THREE COUNCILMEMBERS . WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon did heretofore order an election to be held within the Town of Tiburon on the 12th day of April 1994, for the purpose of selecting three (3) Town Councilmembers to serve for terms of three and one-half years, and WHEREAS, said election was held pursuant to the requirements of the Government Code and the Elections Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, this Town Council of the Town of Tiburon has, pursuant to Section 22932 of the Elections Code of the State of California, canvassed the returns from said elections, ~ NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, ORDERED AND DECLARED as follows: 1. That the whole number of ballots cast in the Town of Tiburon in said election were 1,316 in the precincts and 1,214 were absentee ballots; 2. That the names of the persons voted for were: Mark Ginalski Emilie Noble Nicky Wolf Michael Heckmann Jerry Thayer 3. That the candidates were each a candidate for one of the three (3) seats to be vacated at the expiration of proper terms as fixed by law; 4.
