RESOLUTION NO. 2849
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TIBURON SUPPORTING PASSAGE OF
MEASURE A TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR OPEN
SPACE & CONSERVATION EASEMENTS IN MARIN COUN1Y
WHEREAS, the Town ofTiburon finds that the County's parks, wildlife, open
space and productive agricultural lands are vital and necessary parts of our
community, and
WHEREAS, permanent protection of the County's open space and
agricultural lands will increase the environmental quality of life for the residents of
Tiburon, and
WHEREAS, such protection will contribute to the management of growth in
. urban areas and the preservation of Marin's rural agricultural economy, and
WHEREAS, the Marin County Board of Supervisors, in their capacity as the
Marin County Open Space District, has placed Measure A on the June 1992 ballot
. to provide funding for acquisition of open space and conservation easements on
agricultural lands in Marin County, and

WHEREAS, Measure A is a four-year twenty-five dollar ($25.00) parcel tax.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town
of Tiburon supports the passage of Measure A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on Anril 7. 1992, by the following vote:
