RESOLUTION NO. 2890
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
''l'HE TOWN OF TIBURON COMMENDING
JACK LOHMAN, PLANNING DIRECfOR
FOR HIS DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, Jack Lohman has served the Town of Tiburon since September 1987;
and has rebuilt the Planning Department in that time; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lohman, also known as Mr. CEQA, survived countless General
Plan update hearings, innumerable Zoning Ordinance revision meetings, and seemingly
eternal Vista Tib~n hearings; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lohman gave selflessly of his time and energy as Tiburon
Planning Director and attended hundreds of other public meetings in the perfonnance
of his job; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lohman always maintained his composure and sense of humor
when meeting the "extraordinary" demands of the job; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lohman entertained the Staff by playing the guitar at the
annual Christmas parties and singing such unforgettable, autobiographical songs as
"Homeless Man"; and
WHEREAS, all citizens and employees of Tiburon have benefitted in one manner
or another from Jack's assistance and expertise, and for this and for many other
reasons he will be missed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Jack Lohman for his dedication
and outstanding public service to the Town of Tiburon, the Tiburon community and its
residents; and on behalf of all the residents of the Town, extends its best wishes for a
future that exceeds all expectations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Tiburon on November 18. 1992, by the following vote:
