RESOLUTION NO. 43-2023
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON AUTHORIZING A ONE-TIME NON-PENSIONABLE RETENTION INCENTIVE PAYMENT TO CURRENT TOWN OF TIBURON EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to provide current Town employees with a one-time
retention incentive in recognition of their hard work and dedication over the last several years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon hereby approves:
1. A one-time, non-pensionable retention incentive payment in the amount of $1,000.00 to
all current employees who have worked for the Town for 12 months or more, as of
November 1, 2023; and 2. A one-time, non-pensionable retention incentive payment in the amount of $500.00 to all current employees who have worked for the Town for less than 12 months, as of November 1, 2023; and
3. A budget amendment to increase FY 2023-24 appropriations in the amount of $38,000,
with the source of funds being American Rescue Plan funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED retention incentives will be disbursed on or prior to December 1, 2023.

AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Fredericks, Nikfar, Ryan
NAYS: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Thier, Welner
