RESOLUTION NO. 2922
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TIBURON EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO JUDY BLOCH FOR SERVICE ON TIBURON'S
PENINSULA DISASTER PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Judy Bloch assisted in the development of a Multi-Hazard
Emergency Operations Plan in the summer of 1989, specifically to develop the care
and shelter element of the Plan, and it was adopted by the Town in February 1990,
and
WHEREAS, Judy Bloch also served on the Tiburon Peninsula Disaster
Planning Committee since its inception in April 1991 to develop volunteers to assist
in handling emergencies and recovery, and organized and coordinated Peninsula-
wide training sessions for volunteers,
WHEREAS, Judy Bloch continues to work with law enforcement agencies, fire
district, and school district personnel willingly and generously giving of her time,
experience, talent, guidance and abilities to the community,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town
of Tiburon on behalf of the Tiburon community does hereby express their sincere
appreciation to Judy Bloch for her assistance with the Tiburon Peninsula Disaster
Planning Committee, and her continuing contributions to the Town.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on May 19. 1993, by the following vote:
