RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TIBURON ADOPTING THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 597.1 OF THE PENAL CODE
RELATING TO THE CARE FOR ANIMALS AND
DECLARING THAT SECTION 597(F) OF THE
PENAL CODE SHALL NOT BE OPERATIVE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (1) of Penal Code
Section 597.7, the provisions of said Section shall be operative in the Town of
Tiburon and for the Marin Humane Society only if the Town Council so determines
and further determines that Section 597(f) of the Penal Code shall not be operative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town
of Tiburon hereby resolves as follows:
1. The provisions of Penal Code Section 597.1 are hereby adopted in their
entirety and shall apply within the incorporated limits of the Town of tiburon and
to the Tiburon Police Department and Marin Humane Society. .

2. The provisions of Section 597(f) of the Penal Code shall not apply
within the incorporated areas of the Town of Tiburon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on .Tune 2. 1993, by the following vote:
