SPECIAL MEETING – FEBRUARY 28, 2022
DRAFT MINUTES
Consistent with Executive Orders No. N-25-20 and N-29-20 from the Executive Department of the State of
California and the County Public Health Department’s May 18, 2020 Shelter-in-Place Order, commission
members attended this meeting by teleconference. Members of the public were invited to participate in the
meeting by live streaming the meeting on the Town’s website and submitting comments to
comments@townoftiburon.org to be included in the public record for the meeting.
MEETING – 5:32 P.M.
Chair Noguez called the special meeting of the Tiburon Town Council to order at 5:32 p.m. on Monday,
February 28, 2022.

PRESENT: COMMISSION MEMBERS: Noguez, Etemad, Fong, Hall, Mujica-Beavers
ABSENT: FERRIN

CONSENT CALENDAR
H&A January 25 – Tentative Action Minutes - approved
ACTION ITEMS
AI-1 Review draft Bylaws for the Public Art Selection Panel and consider approval with changes.
No action taken – continued to a future meeting. Request was made to have requested changes made
and new draft submitted at next meeting.
AI-2 Review responsibility and consider approving a plan and clarification for contacting Town
entities concerning public art by H&A or PASP. Examples of entities include but are not
limited to the Chamber of Commerce, the Bel-Tib Library, and various foundations and
private citizens or businesses.

AI-3 Review suggested wording to support public art in the Town of Tiburon and submittal for
inclusion in the new General Plan 2040.
No action taken – moved to future meeting. Commissioners to add wording suggestions by email to
Liaison Pickett or contribute at next meeting.
AI-4 Review documents for “Call for Artist Laureate” and consider approval of same. Review
timeline and discuss avenues of announcement

AI-5 Historic Walking Guide – Review final cost with paper price increase and approve.

1. Receive reports from Commissioners regarding assigned research into other towns supporting public art.
2. Receive report on Portuguese Mural project.
3. Receive report from the PASP Chair.
4. Receive report on current budgets associated with the H&A Commission.
5. Review report on Public Art Selection Panel (PASP) current proposals.
