HERITAGE & ARTS COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING – SEPTEMBER 1, 2022
MINUTES
Consistent with Executive Orders No. N-25-20 and N-29-20 from the Executive Department of the State of California and the County Public Health Department’s May 18, 2020, Shelter-in-Place Order, commission members attended this meeting by teleconference. Members of the public were invited to participate in the
meeting by live streaming the meeting on the Town’s website and submitting comments to
comments@townoftiburon.org to be included in the public record for the meeting.
MEETING – 11AM.
Chair Etemad called the special meeting of the Heritage & Arts Commission to order at 11am. on Thursday,
Sept. 1, 2022.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: COMMISSION MEMBERS: Etemad, Gupta,Ferrin, Fong, Noguez
ABSENT: COMMISSION MEMBERS: Hall, Mujica-Beavers PRESENT: EX OFFICIO: Town Clerk – Lea Delena

ACTION ITEMS
1.Receive update report from ad hoc committee on Thomas Jackson proposal and consider approval ofsending the proposal on to the Parks, Open Space and Trails Commission (POST) for review and comment.
Motion: To approve sending the Thomas Jackson proposal on to the Parks, Open Space and Trails
Commission (POST) for review and comment.
Moved: Fong 2nd: Ferrin All in favor: Unanimous
1.Consider approval of expenditure for invitations and outreach – Dairy Mural project ground-breaking ceremony.
Motion: To approve $250 for expenditure on invitations – Dairy Mural project ground-breaking ceremony.
Moved: Ferrin 2nd: Etemad All in favor: Unanimous
