RESOLUTION NO. 2961
A RESOLUTION OF mE TOWN COUNCIL OF mE
TOWN OF TIBURON EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
JUDY M. HOBBS
FOR HER OUTSTANDING AND DEVOTED
SERVICE IN CREATING mE CYPRESS GARDEN
WHEREAS, JUDY M. HOBBS, along with Claire Russell and Joy Kuhn
conceived the idea of a garden area in memory of Genie Thompson Watkins, and
WHEREAS, JUDY M. HOBBS assisted in raising contributions from family,
friends, the Belvedere Community Foundation, the Tiburon Peninsula Foundation
and the Town of Tiburon for the Cypress Garden, and
WHEREAS, JUDY M. HOBBS worked with a landscape architect, the Town's
Public Works Department and the Parks & Open Space Commission to create the
Cypress Garden at the corner of San Rafael Avenue, and
WHEREAS, JUDY M. HOBBS supervised the construction and assisted in
the planting of the Cypress Garden,

NOW, mEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on behalf of the citizens of the
Town of Tiburon, the Tiburon Town Council does hereby express its sincere gratitude
and appreciation to JUDY M. HOBBS for her distinguished public service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Tiburon on September 14, 1993, by the following vote:
