A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON COMMENDING
HELEN BENEDICT
FOR HER OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO TIBURON
WHEREAS, Helen Benedict has been a housing advocate for twenty years, and
was instrumental in achieving low income housing at The Hilarita and Bradley
House, and
WHEREAS, Helen is the recipient of the Bunny Lucheta Memorial Award
bestowed by the League of Women Voters, and
WHEREAS, she has served the Town on its Housing Committee and as
TIburon's representative to the Tiburon Ecumenical Association for Housing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council on behalf
of the citizens of the Town of Tiburon does hereby commend Helen Benedict for her
outstanding public service as a housing advocate, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Council does hereby recognize
and congratulate Helen Benedict for her warmth, generosity of spirit and good will
and officially proclaims Helen Benedict as Tiburon's Ambassador-At-Large.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on October 6. 1993, by the following vote:
